Building on Strong Roots

Every garden begins with strong roots, and so does My Earth Garden. Michael Nolan planted the idea that gardening should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience. 

I’m Brad Downey, and I’ve taken that vision to heart. Today, I carry it forward with a team that shares the same belief, making sure the spirit Michael began continues to grow stronger with each season.

Our Story

My Earth Garden was created as a place where anyone could feel welcome to learn, grow, and experiment. Over time, it has become a resource for gardeners at every stage, from beginners planting their first seed to seasoned growers looking for new ideas.

Our Mission

The mission is to guide, inspire, and encourage by showing how even the smallest act of growing can enrich a person’s life. 

The main vision is to build a community where people feel supported and a sense of belonging to the Earth and a greener future, and start out or seek to live more sustainably.

We aim to help people succeed in their gardening by drawing insights from diverse perspectives and practices.
