When I called them she said she would get 2 bags ready for me.

Anyone think of that.

I just came across your note about coffee grinds in the garden on Pinterest. Very interesting. I use Bridgehead coffee grinds in the spring around my hostas and mixed the grinds in with the soil. BTW my soil is blue clay. The reason I added coffee grinds was to get rid of slugs that feasted on my hostas the summer before. I was so pleased that it worked, my hostas are gorgeous this year and no slugs 🙂

The plant is supposed to be ‘disease free’ .(LOL) I had purchased fertilizer to put in the tomato plant . The flowers are doing fine. but not the tomato plant 🙁

The only question I would have is how you are dealing with removing the grounds from the barrel when they build up.

I collect rain water and in one of my barrels I had been throwing used coffee grounds. I only make a small pot each day (4cups) This made a light coffee mixture to the water. It’s 55 gallon container and using for garden plants only. The plants seem to love this mixture. But some of your comments have me worried. I did add manure and other ingredients depending on plants. Will this offset? They look great and producing well.

To me it seems to have taken the exact same route as the introduction of chemical fertilizer and pest control. And you see exactly where that had led us.
