Quiet Steps Worth Walking Through

I am not big on commercial holidays and St Valentine’s Day is one that I generally avoid altogether but this year there is something that I need to say and there is no better time than right now. 

I hope you will excuse this non-garden, non-homestead post but this is something I feel should be shared here as it does relate to the homestead in that it relates to the person with whom this homestead is being built.

This has been a challenging few months for me and yet even through periods of self-doubt and depression John has been my rock, my confidant and now, my partner.  As a writer I accept and embrace that I have been blessed with a gift for the written word.  As a public speaker I am confident and effective delivering a message to an audience.  On a personal, you-and-me-against-the-world level though, I pretty much suck.

Now is the time for this writer to shut up and let someone else do the talking for me.  My old friend Bob Gentry says it all.
