Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup finely grated good quality Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons dried parsley
  • salt & pepper
Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium high heat.
  2. Stir in heavy cream and cook until it begins to bubble, but not quite boil.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese and whisk constantly until thoroughly melted, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in dried parsley and taste for seasoning. Add salt & pepper as needed.
  5. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Return pasta to cooking pot and toss with Alfredo sauce.
  6. Plate and serve.
